The tasting begins on an elegant terrace overlooking rows of vines that produce Etna Bianco and Etna Rosso DOC. The sommeliers introduce you to Etna's unique terroir — soils built by centuries of eruptions, rich in minerals, that give these wines their acidity and salinity — then guide you through four wines, from crisp volcanic whites to structured reds.
Each wine arrives with a Sicilian dish designed to highlight it. Between tastings there is time for the view, the stories of the grapes — Carricante, Nerello Mascalese — and a walk through the vineyard itself, on the volcano's eastern slope famous for Etna Bianco Superiore.
